Are your staff licensed counselors?

We are not licensed by the state of Tennessee. We are specially trained through Life Center’s Advanced Ministry Training program to respond to the emotional, mental, and behavioral struggles by presenting Christ-centered solutions. We believe that the church should be on the front lines of most ministry. As we resume our rightful role, the world will come to see how Christ is the answer to all emotional, mental, and behavioral struggles.

What is the ministry counseling process?

We rely on the Word and the Holy Spirit, the Great Counselor, to do the renewing work of ministry. Our caring staff leads you to locate the lies and coping patterns that are interrupting your victory. We use visual illustrations, life mapping, handouts, diagrams, mentoring, and prayer.  As you exchange the lies for the truth and the self-life for Christ’s life, Christ is formed in you through the knowledge that you are already complete in Christ.  Progressively you experience lasting freedom and peace regardless of others or circumstances.

How much does it cost?

We use a sliding scale based on income to determine session fees.

Do you accept insurance?

Currently, we do not participate with insurance programs.

How often do sessions occur, and how long are they?

Usually, we schedule sessions for every other week. Sometimes sessions need to be scheduled weekly. Our Sessions are 90 minutes long or 60 minutes for youth).

What types of needs (emotional, mental, or behavioral) do you address?

God pours out abounding grace for anger, depression, guilt, shame, fear of inadequacy, anxiety, fear, worrying, eating disorders, self-harm, self-esteem issues, addictions, grieving losses, abuse survivor, abusive relationships, abortion recovery, the forgiveness of sins, and forgiving others, etc. With God, nothing is impossible.

Do you offer virtual ministry-counseling?

Yes, we meet with clients virtually.

Do you work with the LGBTQIA+ Community?

Yes, we do. Christ-centered solutions are for everyone.
